Privacy Policy for Neotopia

Neotopia ("the Game") is developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the Game collects, why, and how it is used.

Information the Game Collects

• Google Play Games Services account data. If you sign in with Google Play Games, the Game receives a player ID and public profile name to identify your save and enable features such as achievements. We do not receive your email address, password, or contact list.
• Gameplay progress. Your in-game progress (resources, creatures, plants, levels) is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to Play Games Services, may be backed up via Google's servers so you can restore progress on a new device.
• Advertising data (Google AdMob). The Game shows optional, reward-based video ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your advertising ID and other device/usage data to select and measure ads, and — where required by your region (for example the EEA, UK, or applicable US states) — the Game asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, through a standard Google consent prompt. You can review or change this choice at any time from Settings > Privacy Options. • Diagnostic data. Standard crash and performance data may be collected automatically by the Google Play platform to help us fix bugs. We do not operate our own analytics.

What We Do Not Collect

The Game does not collect your name, email address, physical location, contacts, or photos directly. We do not sell your personal information.

How Information Is Used

Collected information is used to operate core game features (saving your progress, syncing it across devices, and displaying achievements/leaderboards through Google Play Games Services) and to show and measure the optional video ads described above through Google AdMob. We do not sell, rent, or share information with third parties for marketing purposes beyond what AdMob itself requires to serve ads.

Data Retention

Local save data remains on your device until you uninstall the Game or clear its data. Cloud save data is retained by Google Play Games Services under Google's own retention policy, tied to your Google account.

Children's Privacy

The Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what Google Play Games Services itself requires for account sign-in.

Your Choices

You can play the Game without signing in to Play Games Services, in which case only local, on-device save data is used. You may disconnect Play Games Services at any time from your device's Google Play Games app settings. Watching a rewarded video ad is always optional and never required to progress in the Game. Where a consent choice about personalized ads applies to you, you can review or change it at any time from Settings > Privacy Options in the Game.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the Game adds features. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
