Neotopia — Data Deletion Request
Developer: Neocloud · App: Neotopia (com.neotopia.game) · Last updated: 23 September 2026
This page explains how to ask us to delete the data that the Neotopia app holds about you, what we delete, and what is kept. Neotopia has no account system and no password, so most of your data never leaves your device in the first place — see our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How to request deletion
- Step 1. Open Neotopia and go to Profile > Friends > Add Friend. Make a note of your 5-character Friend Code shown at the top of that screen. This code is the only way we can identify your records, because we hold no name, email address or account for you.
- Step 2. Send an email to neoenj@gmail.com with the subject line "Neotopia data deletion request".
- Step 3. Include your Friend Code in the body of the email. You do not need to provide any other personal information.
- Step 4. We will confirm by reply once the deletion is complete. We aim to action every request within 30 days of receiving it.
If you have uninstalled the app and no longer have your Friend Code, email us anyway and describe roughly when you played and the display name you used, and we will do our best to locate and remove the record.
What is deleted
On request we permanently delete everything we hold about you on our servers, which is:
- Your Friend Code and the display name you chose.
- Your hero level, profile picture and profile border selections, and last-seen timestamp, as shown to players on your friends list.
- Your friends list records, any friend requests sent or received, and any unclaimed gifts addressed to you.
Once deleted, these records are removed from our database and cannot be recovered.
What is kept, and why
- Data on your own device. Your game save (progress, creatures, plants, levels) is stored locally. We cannot delete this remotely — uninstalling Neotopia, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes it completely.
- Cloud save backups. If you signed in, your save backup is held by your platform's gaming service in your own account — Google Play Games Services on Android, or Game Center in your iCloud on iOS. These are not ours to delete. Remove them through your Google account or Apple ID settings.
- Anonymous crash reports. Crash and error reports sent through Sentry are not linked to you or to your Friend Code, so there is no record that can be identified and removed on request. These reports are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.
- Advertising data. Ads are served by Google AdMob and are non-personalised, so no advertising profile of you exists to delete. Google's own retention applies to any data it holds.
Retention if you do not request deletion
Friend Codes, display names and profile details are retained for as long as the record exists so that friends can continue to find you and send gifts. Unclaimed gifts are deleted as soon as they are claimed.
